WAWA, Pa. — Wawa is rolling out Kids Meals at all of its locations this month.
Wawa c-stores are located in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland, Virginia, Florida and Washington, D.C. The Wawa, Pa.-based company reached the milestone of its 900th store in June.
Each meal includes an entree, side and beverage and costs between $3.99 and $5.99 depending on the selection. Entrees include Wawa Junior Hoagies with turkey, ham, roast beef or cheese; a small macaroni and cheese; cheese quesadilla; chicken strips; meatballs; or a small chicken noodle soup. The side options include apple slices, yogurt, mozzarella string cheese, a bag of chips or a chocolate chip cookie. Beverages include water, milk or chocolate milk. Yogurt sides are unavailable in Florida stores and milk does not become available until Aug. 5 in Mid-Atlantic stores and Aug. 10 in Florida stores.
The meals aim to provide convenience, value and accessibility for customers who are seeking a variety of food options for children, Wawa said.
“We’re excited to add Kids Meals to our menu as it now, more than ever, allows Wawa to become a lunch and dinner destination for the entire family,” said Mike Sherlock, chief product marketing officer for the convenience-store chain. “Parents or guardians can select their preferred menu items and order Kids Meals for children, all while preserving the experience of eating together as one family.”
Wawa said it will offer mobile ordering and delivery service of Kids Meals in the near future.
The rollout follows the launch of a new plant-based breakfast sandwich.
