ROSSLYN, Va. —Cheese lovers, rejoice: Frozen foods manufacturer Stouffer’s has created a macaroni and cheese dispenser for convenience stores, restaurants and other foodservice establishments.
The Mac on Tap system contains an internal heater that keeps pre-cooked Stouffer’s macaroni and cheese at serving temperatures, a Stouffer’s spokesperson told Today. It resembles common nacho cheese dispensers with its lever-system that releases noodles straight from the tap.

Stouffer’s is promoting the Mac on Tap to celebrate National Mac & Cheese Day on July 14. Stouffer’s has also asked fans when they would like to see the dispenser come to life and has encouraged them to tweet their ideas.
Stouffer’s offers a variety of frozen Italian meals. Its “classics” include Baked Chicken, Baked Macaroni & Cheese, Baked Ziti, Cheddar Baked Potatoes, Cheese French Bread Pizza, Cheese Manicotti, Cheese Garlic Lasagna, and more. Stouffer’s is a division of Vevey, Switzerland-based Nestle.
Nestle’s U.S. division, based in Rosslyn, Va., consists of eight main businesses: Nestle USA, Nestle Waters North America, Nestle Nutrition, Nestle Professional, Nespresso, Nestle Health Science, Nestle Skin Health and Nestle Purina PetCare Co. The company employs 50,000 people in more than 120 locations across the United States in 77 factories and 10 research and development centers.
