CHICAGO —CSP is now accepting nominations for its 16th annual Retailer Choice Best New Products Contest (BNPC). The BNPC honors today’s top innovations and tomorrow’s solutions, focusing on the most innovative and inspiring product launches from the past year.
Through July 24, CSP is asking retailers and suppliers to submit their nominations for best new products across several key convenience-store categories. Up to five submissions can be made by visiting here.
After nominations are collected, finalists will be determined by CSP editors and staff, and retailers will have the opportunity to vote for their favorites.
Eligible submissions include products available in convenience-store formats between Aug. 1, 2019, and June 1, 2020, and should show product innovation or groundbreaking advancement. Winners will be announced during the NACS Show(R), Oct. 12-14, in Las Vegas, and featured in the December issue of CSP magazine.
“The consumer-retailer relationship has been shaken up by the pandemic. Suddenly, hand sanitizer and toilet paper are being talked about on the same level as packaged beverages and salty snacks,” said CSP Content Director Steve Holtz. “It will be fascinating to see how, or if, this will alter the product launches that retailers felt were most important in the past year.”
