St. LOUIS — Anheuser-Busch has introduced a cocktail-inspired hard seltzer line.
Social Club Seltzer comes in Old Fashioned, Sidecar and Citrus Gimlet flavors. Each 12-ounce can has 150 calories and has 7% ABV.
“With the growth of the hard seltzer industry comes consumers looking for new offerings that fit different occasions, so we are excited to introduce a new premium hard seltzer cocktail for fans to enjoy,” said Lana Kouznetsov, vice president of Anheuser-Busch’s Beyond Beer. “Inspired by the flavors of classic cocktails and combined with the refreshment of a seltzer, Social Club appeals to cocktail lovers who are looking for the flavors they love but in a more sessionable format.”
The Old Fashioned seltzer is a new take on a classic whiskey cocktail that balances flavors of blood orange, warm spice and a hint of smoky oak. The Sidecar has notes of rich stone fruit and lemon, and the Citrus Gimlet is a blend of citrus flavors with a hint of juniper, according to Anheuser-Busch.
The drinks are available this month nationwide and are sold in a variety flavor 12-pack and individual flavor six-packs.
Social Club Seltzer joins the company’s other hard seltzer brands: Bud Light Seltzer, Bon & Viv Spiked Seltzer and Natural Light Seltzer.
Anheuser-Busch, St. Louis, owns and operates 12 flagship breweries, 12 craft partners, 14 distributorships and 23 agricultural and packaging facilities. Beer brands include Budweiser, Bud Light, Michelob Ultra and Stella Artois, as well as regional brands.
