Clicks Defeat Bricks

One of the busiest selling seasons “US Thanksgiving Weekend” is now over and the results show that more people shopped on-line for products (clicks) then they did visiting stores (bricks).

This underscores the challenges facing shopping malls this holiday season as the e-retailing giant, Amazon exerts more pressure.  While retailers were focusing on publishing deals to get store and on-line traffic, Amazon was busy showcasing a new drone that they plan to use to deliver products to customers 30 minutes after they ordered it.

More than 103 million people shopped online over the four-day weekend, which started Thursday compared to 102 million who ventured into traditional stores.
