Changing To Be Relevant

Why change when you don’t have to?

In preparation for this years Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas, the local and ONLY airport for Las Vegas installed 2,000 plus outlets and USB ports under seats and inside bars and restaurants to accommodate travellers.  The show draws over 100,000 people each year, and the ONLY airport decided to spend $400,000 on the upgrades to be more relevant.

This begs the question – when you are the only game in town – why change – not alone why invest $400k when customers have not been complaining?  The answer – simply – to be more relevant.

The fact is more and more people are playing games on mobile devices, watching tv, conducting virtual meetings, reading books, etc. – so the investment makes sense – wise thinking!
